What is Telehealth and how does it work?
Telehealth, otherwise known as Telemedicine, is used to provide healthcare services remotely through a video chat or phone consultation; both of which we offer. With Telehealth, you get the care you need in the comfort of your home via tablet, laptop, or phone. Getting started is just one call away.
During your Telehealth virtual appointment, your therapist will assess and prescribe exercises and activities. You will be progressed as tolerated just as you would during an in-home session. Your therapist will use resources available within your home to optimize your virtual care.
Are virtual TeleHealth appointments secure?
Virtual Telehealth appointments with Holistic PT are secure, private, and HIPAA compliant. We will always reaffirm your willingness and comfort with working via video prior to starting the session.
Why In-Home Therapy?
You don't have the hassle of running out of the house for your appointment while juggling the unpredictability that can come with managing a health condition. Simply wait for the therapist to come to you and conduct your session. This reduces the chances of missed treatment sessions which can be critical in healing and progression. At home you also get the benefit of medically recommended home modifications, the safety of being in your home, and 1:1 attention.

Does MPS therapy work?
MPS is both FDA-approved and proven to control pain levels. By using highly accurate point simulation (like acupuncture's well-placed needles) and microcurrent stimulation (like a TENS unit), MPS immediately targets and relaxes pressure/trigger/movement points, meridians, and pathways, many clients feel relief within minutes. This study showed that MPS provided statistically significant 68% improvement (p ≤ 0.0001) in patient pain levels immediately after initial treatment, and a further statistically significant 35% (p ≤ 0.0001) at the 2-day follow-up, for a total 80% pain relief.
